Timbers Too
Lisa, Rob, Nils and the Zoo!
Since I haven't been melting glass lately, a little bird made a nest on top of my glass shelf. 2 of the eggs were regected - and pushed out of the nest. But there are now 3 little babies in there. When they heard me with the camera, they thought I was mama with a worm and opened their mouths wide!!

We took the dogs down to the pond, and while Jake and Roxy were swimming, Harley decided to cuddle with Rob in the warm sun. Of course, I fiddled with it in photoshop and here is the result:
My Boys

We recently put in independant underground power the barn. So instead of tapping into the power of the main house, the barn is completely separate. Which means we have more power!!! Rob and Nils spent a lot of time installing new outlets, lights and switches.

Getting ready for Christmas!

Every fall black birds (I don't know what kind) migrate for the winter and use our property for a rest stop. It is amazing to go outside in the morning to a symphony of literally thousands of birds, then hear the WHOOSH of them all taking flight at once, and then...silence. It is quite the experience. In the original picture you could not see the birds in the trees, but after a little tweaking a lovely image imerged. I'm happy with it.

You can probably tell by now that I love photography and photoshop! Here is a quick picture I snapped of Rob and our Golden Retriever, Jake taking a nap on the couch together. I played with the image a bit in photoshop. Some of the effect is lost with the image being so small but you get the idea.

We finally put the old Timbers sign back up. It was taken down when the trees were removed for the private road. We hope to get a smaller matching sign that says Private to hang from it too.
A fresh coat of paint and some cedar poles and voila!

All work and no play is no fun!! But riding a goat is lots of fun!!!

Since Rob's too big to ride Billy, he decided to hop up on Daylight, our overweight draft horse (she's on a diet....kinda.....)
This BIG (5" across) beautiful moth was hanging out at the barn one night...

This little guy was truckin' it across our driveway on his way to the pond. I accelerated his trip and carried him the 100 yards over there.

We bought a huge log picnic table. It's handmade out of old barnwood.

We had a ton of rain in a short period of time so the ground was saturated and soft. Rob was out working on taking some more trees down on our lot and got our tractor stuck in the mud! He had to call our sub-contractor Karl Auer to come and pull him out with his big tractor!

The pond peeking out through the trees...

The Abandoned Trail (used by all the neighborhood horseback riders)
A Relaxing Spot...
We recently made this new flowerbed....
