On 2.04.09 Rob had a ruptured disc in his spine repaired. The surgeon went in through the front of his neck, removed the ruptured disc, fused the 2 vertabrae, and put in a metal plate to hold everything together. He is recovering well and only 3 days after the surgery was already working on the house!!

On 6.24.08 we found out we (well, techically, Lisa) are pregnant! The little bean is due at the very end of January! We are very excited, now we just need to get this house finished!!!
On 4.23.07 we celebrated our 2 year anniversary. Lisa's wonderful Mother was kind enough to stay with the animals while we got a "night away" at the Water's Edge Resort in Old Saybrook. And it was a wonderful gift to recieve the signed and finalized deed for our lot on our anniversary!
Rob and Lisa met on an online discussion board called hondaprelude.com in January of 2001. They both owned a Prelude, and at first emailed back and forth regarding cars. Soon the emails turned into phone calls, and eventually Rob invited Lisa to his "graduation trip" to the Cayman Islands. Rob had just graduated from Sacred Heart University with a Business Degree, and his parents were sending him and a friend to the Cayman's. But Lisa's mom, Vicki, wanted to meet this strange boy from Connecticut before her daughter went galavanting off to a foreign country with him. So, on April 20, 2001, Rob flew out California to Meet the Parents. Of course, Lisa's parents liked Rob right away, so plans were made for the couple's trip to the Caymans in May. Frequent flights to and from Connecticut and California followed this first vacation date, and soon, it was unbearable for the couple to part for months at a time. Lisa and Rob then packed up a U-Haul with all her stuff (including a Chihuahua and Iguana!), and towed her precious Honda Prelude to Connecticut, where Lisa finished her Animal Science degree at the University of Connecticut. In June of 2002, the couple moved to the family farm in Killingworth CT called The Timbers where Lisa's horse, Copper, was soon trailered across country to. On April 23, 2005 the couple was married in Pismo Beach, California and soon after started planning on building a log home on The Timbers family farm. Currently, Lisa is working as the Bookkeeper at a John Deere Dealer, and Rob as the head mechanic at the local True Value. Rob also just became a state certified EMT (Emergency Medical Technician), and plans on volunteering for the Killingworth Ambulance Association. They will live Happily Ever After : )
